Admissions
Thank you for considering Tirlebrook Primary School for your child. We warmly welcome you to come and visit our school and see us in action.
During the Autumn Term and early Spring Term, we hold open mornings where prospective parents are invited to have a guided tour of our school led by our Year 6 House Captains. Throughout your visit, you will have the opportunity to experience what life is like at Tirlebrook. You will also have the opportunity to meet key members of the Tirlebrook Primary School staff team and school community who will be able to answer any questions you may have. If you are unable to attend our official open mornings, or would like a follow-up visit or telephone call, these can be made by appointment by contacting the school office.

As a Foundation School, Tirlebrook's admission arrangements are decided and organised annually by the school's governing body.
Admissions Consultation
Section 89 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (the 1998 Act) requires every admissions authority to determine, before the beginning of the school year, the admission arrangements that are to apply for that year in accordance with the timetable set out in the School Admission Code 2021 (SAC). It also states that schools must fully consult with all interested parties every 7 years.
Our 2025-2026 Admissions Policy is currently out for public consultation (from 20th December 2023 - 31st January 2024). We will not be making any changes to our current admission arrangements. The 2025-2026 Proposed Admissions Policy can be reviewed by clicking on the link in the next pane.
